I’ve photographed this family since he was young, and now I get to photograph this next chapter of his life. There’s something pretty special about watching a kid grow up through the lens of my camera and then getting to document such an important milestone.

Senior year goes by quickly, and senior pictures are about more than just having a great photo for the yearbook. They’re a way to remember who they were at this exact moment—what they loved, what made them laugh, and the things that made this season uniquely theirs. Photoshoots with cars can be tricky since it’s such a BIG prop but I think we were able to crush this session!

Downtown Kansas City Senior Photos | High School Senior Photographer

Jay is my nephew came all the way from Syracuse, Kansas to Kansas City for his senior pictures. I’ve had a handful of seniors travel for their senior photos and I’m always extremely flattered that they would travel that far. I spent and afternoon scouting some spots we could use in downtown Kansas City for Jay’s senior pictures. A couple of these spots we just happened upon during his session which is always a fun little bonus.

Jay plays football and basketball so I really tried to find some cool spots to get senior football photos and senior basketball photos. I especially love how it looks against a city or downtown backdrop. Thanks for asking me to take your senior pictures Jay!

This senior session got my creative juices flowing! I love of clean straight lines of the modern buildings and the beautiful architecture of the older. This location was the perfect classy look we were going for and her outfits helped finish out that classy look. Perfection.

Downtown Kansas City | Holcomb High School Senior

When Julissa first reached out to me about doing her senior pictures I was floored. It’s not every day that someone drives 5-6 hours to book a session. She and her family drove all the way from Holcomb near Garden City, Kansas. It was a huge compliment that she would be willing to come that far for my services. She had limited time in town so we hoped and prayed the weather would cooperate! She braved the cold weather and powered through so we could get some stunning images for her senior pictures. She’s a natural!

Julissa is about to graduate for Holcomb High school this coming week. We were able to fit in her session just in time! I was so impressed by her during her session. I got to talk to her about her plans after high school. This girl is not scared of hard work and I think she is going to rock it. Good luck and congratulations on your graduation, Julissa!

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this beautiful girl for her senior pictures. It’s starting to get cold around here now that it’s November but worked through the cold to get her some beautiful images to celebrate her upcoming graduation from Shawnee Mission Northwest. The sunset was beautiful this evening and I absolutely love how her outfit mimicked the colors of the sky towards the end.
